BACKGROUND

Prior to joining Golden Gate Sotheby’s International Realty, I was a broker associate with Decker Bullock SIR, McGuire Real Estate, Vision Real Estate, and my own company Platinum Real Estate. I spent more than 20 years in management and operations with Blank Noir women’s clothing and Silbermann’s Ice Cream, where I developed valuable experience in time management, negotiations, finance, strategy, and customer relations... skills which have helped me successfully serve my clients in real estate. I am a graduate of San Francisco State University with a BS in Business Administration, and Finance, as well as the College of Marin and Terra Linda High School in San Rafael.

A fourth-generation Marin resident, Chad Dagit was born, raised, and is still proudly rooted here — he and his family call the east San Rafael neighborhood of Glenwood home, where he serves on the neighborhood board.

Chad's path to real estate is anything but ordinary. After earning his degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2006, he taught Physical Education at Sun Valley Elementary before serving the community of San Francisco as a police officer. Those roles — requiring clear communication, composure under pressure, and genuine commitment to others — laid the foundation for the real estate professional he is today.

Whether a client is buying, selling, relocating, building from the ground up, or investing, Chad brings the same focus and dedication to every relationship. His background gives him a rare ability to navigate high-stakes situations with clarity, and his deep Marin roots mean a trusted network of vendors and industry professionals ready to support your goals. Family and community have always been at the center of Chad's life. Currently, he is an active San Rafael Rotarian, serves on the executive board of SFPAL, and holds board positions with the SRHS Alumni Association and SRHS Scholarship Foundation. And his most cherished commitment? Helping teach a monthly bike and scooter class at his son's preschool.
